Help identify tree?

We were given this tree ( at least I think it is a mini tree) over 10 years ago. Have moved a few times since and poor thing has been languishing in a pot for a fair few of those. Back in the ground again and looking very healthy but we can't remember what it is. Has a berry this year ( only one) and earlier in the year had some lovely tiny white flowers in bunches, very perfumed. Like little groups similar to elderflower shape but smaller.

Can any one help identify it please?

Oh brilliant, thanks for that- I'm pretty happy it's a native plant! I've been googling this for ages without success so delighted with your id- you're a star.

Its a lovely plant I have one in the back garden, and I have seen it in a few wild places too.
