I don't understand this, you have proof of what they did in their own voice.. This should be evidence in the trial, not risk getting them off scot free in case it influences people.

It took so long for the Gardai to finally step in and start collecting evidence from Anglo, while there was likely a Shreddit truck parked in the rear, clearing their old skeletons out. Any proof of what went on should be taken into consideration.

Yeah is a bit mad, I mean if you have voice recording of some guy admitting to stealing cars it would be evidence.

It is probably because the tone of the articles from the independent could lead to members of the public/jurors forming certain opinions about the defedants and thus influencing their decision.

But the tapes speak for themselves, Tone language and all that.

During the Vietnam war the Viet Kong trawled through the left behind shredded papers of us officers in abandoned stations, working day and night to piece together the almost innumerable combinations of paper shredding until information was revealed, this hugely tedious work required thousands of unpaid volunteer citizens - we have the jobsbridge scheme in place .... Just saying.

The Judge will just instruct the jury to find them not guilty anyway

so none of this particular act in the circus really matters

The CAB did something similar, I think in relation to Burke
