    Hey all,

I am looking to buy a new bike under the bike to work scheme but also hoping to get into cycling a bit more at the weekend at hopefully a few spins during the week.

I am looking for suggestions as to what bike to get and which shops are good/easy to deal with. Anywhere around the south east or Dublin would be best.
I know that most place wont measure for bikes unless you commit to purchasing from them so I want to make sure I am getting a good piece of equipment for the price I pay - budget approx €1200 - €1500.

    Thanks

Never heard of a shop not wanting to measure someone for a bike, it's a fairly simple calculation based solely on your height (usually) but if you want you can find your own size on bike manufacturers websites, besides you dont need to know it until you order a bike.

There are plenty of bike shops in Dublin, CycleSuperstore and EuroCycles come to mind and have a good selection of bikes and brands between them so try them first.
