Corneal Transplant

Hi everyone, this is my first post in the forum. I had an accident last year in which my left eye was injured. I could see normally immediately after the accident but afterwards the eyesight began to decrease slowly. I went to the doctor who told me that a corneal transplant will correct my vision and I am having the operation two months later. The surgery is at Evergreen Eye Clinic, Washington and though the doctors and staff have been very supportive I am very nervous. Have anyone here had a corneal transplant? How was the experience?
