Thinking of putting up a lean-to onto back of 3 span hayshed.

It is close enough to the main road but it's on a dead straight part so no obstacle to nothing.

Anyone any thoughts on whether I should need permission or not.

If it's for livestock and it's under a certain size I don't think you do.

as far as im aware it needs to be more than 100m from a road to go up without planning, it would definately be under the required size once the rest of the buildings dont exceed 30,000 sq feet (i think) go in to your local co.co website and you will get all the info on exempt agri buildings.

could be wrong but its 200 m2 in shed for cattle and within 50m of the road

you can get a form and the council will actually certify it doesn't need planning.
