Buying Own Wine For Wedding

    Hi all,

So we chose our wedding venue today. :)

The prices for each bottle of wine ranged between €18 and €22. She said that if we wanted to bring our own wine, the corkage would be €8.50 per bottle.

We were thinking of taking a trip to France to get lots of cheap wine. Has anyone done this before? Any advice welcome, thanks. ;)

We did it for our sparkling wine (our wine is included in our package). We did the first sailing of the year from Cork to Roscoff as they do wine tasting on the boat so you can pick your wine on the boat. The wine and beer supermarket in Roscoff is good as well.
