Pubs that serve wine by the glass

A while ago, I decided never to drink wine from those horrible small bottles again.

Which has me wondering which pubs serve real wine from large bottles.

I know Padraig's and Rabbit's do. But where else?

Neachtains do also, that's all I can think of, not being a big wine drinker.

Why? It's precisely the same substance regardless of the size.

Not everyone would agree with you. :)
I know someone who even brings their own aerator "in case (God forbid) they would only have those little bottles" LOL! :D

Also when there's small bottles on sale often they tend to be limited to one or two types of wine, whereas the pubs that sell it by the glass tend to have at least 3 or four choices.

Apparently the small bottles of wine contain the end part of the wine vats that doesn't get put into full sized bottles (i.e. the crap).

    Old wives tale.

I wouldn't trust a glass out of an already opened wine bottle in a bar. I've seen things that have displeased me.

O Connells do from what I remember

A lot of wine is shipped this way and bottled locally

Huntsman and the bars in the Radisson.
The bar in the house hotel used to, but who knows what it will do when it reopens.

    Oh?

They certainly didn't a couple of months ago, but may have improved a bit recently. Fingers crossed.

They do now. Definitely prefer it, whether it's any better or not!
