Medical Card Automatic Renewal?

    Hi guys

    I have had a medical card for about 5 years roughly, and it was due to expire in September of this year.

    On Friday I received a new one in the post valid for another year.

    I've been a student for the past 4 or so years and am now in a well paying job (30+k a year).

    Just wondering should it have been renewed automatically or not?

    Any help appreciated

    They do that when they are inundated.

    They rely on YOU to return it if you are not eligible anymore.

    What do you mean by inundated?

    I'm going to contact them tomorrow to notify them of my change in circumstance
