    Hey,

Just wondering opinions on whether a dropper post us overkill on a ht.

    Any thoughts?

By no means an expert, but I had one on my previous hard tail and loved it. Got a full suss since, different post diameter, so didn't swap it over, but find the fs more forgiving so don't feel I need one. Full suss I got is a smaller frame size, so I find it easier get my weight back when required, so that probably plays a factor too.

In summary, overkill? I don't think so, and certainly not if you find yourself adjusting saddle height for technical sections, then again for climbs.

Cheers. I find I'm adjusting it a lot. I'm also a lot faster with saddle down. How'd u find fs after riding the hardtail. Tempted to go down that route

Seems like a no-brainer to go for the dropper so. Only question is whether to invest or save the cash for a fs.

Absolutely no question in my mind, fs is faster and way more fun. I'll never go back, even for epic long stuff.
