Shower not working due to drop in mains pressure

My Mother's Triton T100e care shower is getting a "low pressure" signal...due to a drop in mains water locally. We thought the old shower was finished due to it's age...but we are getting the same signal with the new replacement shower. The required mains pressure is 1.2 bar constant. Triton suggested that I take my feed from my attic tank, with a pump attached to ensure the required pressure. Would anyone suggest the type of pump I need and the expense involved?

The cost will depend on a number of factors, but primarily the present location of the shower unit and the degree of difficulty, if any, connecting from the attic tank, via a pump, to the shower.
The next thing is choosing a suitable pump. Some can be quite noisy, while others are much quieter.
Is the shower unit upstairs or downstairs?

Thanks K.Flyer! The shower unit is downstairs (it's a bungalow). It would be very easy to connect from the attic tank to the shower. The pump options are my main query. Could the pump be connected to the shower isolation switch? A quiet pump would suit better...I suppose it depends on the price difference. If it was only turned on when the shower is being used...then the noise would not be a factor.

The pump wiould be connected to its own electric supply and be of a type that automatically starts when there is a call for water through the shower.
There are some pumps available that are very quiet and can easily be installed in an attic taking water from the tank.

Thanks again K.Flyer...it seems the way to go...will try and source the correct pump.

For what you are looking to do, kikawa have a pump which would suit you perfectly and not be too expensive.

Great! If convenient...could you PM a link to information of this pump?..or who to contact to source it?
