Hi, if anyone in the West Wicklow area would like to get a taste of group cycling, Reservoir Cogs have FREE* introduction spins starting 21 September - see attached flyer.

Sessions will be very friendly and inclusive, with a strong focus on technique rather than speed or distance. Groups will travel at the speed of the slowest rider.

    Hope to see you there!

    * Club membership (€5) plus CI license (€20/€25) required

Anyone know if Bray Wheelers ever do anything like this? Or any club in Bray/Greystones if there are others...

no...but I can say that Reservoir cogs are friendly and inclusive, and know their business when it comes to group cycling. I'm not a member (Deansgrange and Blesso are not really that close) but I've been out with the Cogs on one occasion, and found them good.

Is it a progressive 8 weeks or drilling the same stuff each week? Due to work its unlikely I'd make all 8.

It is progressive but more for fitness/stamina than technique
I would say you'd be ok, even if you missed some sessions.

Sent over an app there and explained about lack of attendance due to personal stuff in the coming weeks. Looking forward to getting out on the spins.
