    Lads has anyone been getting pigeons in any numbers at all? good few fields of winter barley cut at this stage and no pigeons in any great numbers!

    good few around..was shooting them on standing barley friday evening for and couple of hours we shot 31.. only started at half 6 in the evening.. there was around 150 on the field when we got there but werent really coming into the decoys that great.. we're going to make a pigeon magnet tomorrow to get a bit of movement into the pattern to try pull them in

    yeah getting great numbers here in the midlands, last 3 bags were 58, 103 and 86 yesterday (with just the one gun), heading out again wed with two guns, will be hoping for another red letter day! (prob see nothing now i said that)!! all over winter barley btw

    Going out myself in the morning winter barley they cut this evening. The straw is still onthe ground. But I, ve not been seen many birds so far here in the west so fingers crosser I, ll get a few.
