    Hey guys,
I'm and 18 year old guitarist and singer living in cork city and I'm looking to start a band. Influences would be Less Than Jake, Blink-182, The Offsprings, Reel Big Fish, Operation Ivy and other bands like that. I have a large bit of experience gigging as a solo acoustic musician but really this band is something I would like to pursue. I really need a bass player and drummer with similar interests. Hopefully I can also find a trombone player, saxophone player and maybe a trumpet player to get that ska-punk feel to it. Also of any of those members can sing secondary lead vocals (hope that makes sense) it would really help. Get onto me if you have any questions

If only you lived closer to Dublin or even the midlands, around Offaly/Westmeath. I've been looking for members to start a ska/punk or skate/punk band for a while but there doesn't seem to be much interest in these genres. I'm a bassist/vocalist/guitarist with a few demos for an ep recorded. I love all the bands you mentioned (particularly less than jake and the offspring) as well as bands like streetlight manifesto, the clash, NOFX, rancid, upstanding youth, bad religion, lagwagon etc. If you happen to be moving up to Dublin, Maynooth or Athlone for college or whatever and you're still looking for band members let me know :) I'm just guessing you've probably finished your leaving cert. Either way, hope you get a band sorted. Take care

Well, now that just hurts! I'm really into all those bands that you mentioned as well! I wish I was closer, if I ever find my self in that part of the country I'll definitely hit you up :)
