    Hi Everyone,

I want to construct a timber fence with the uprights as a full railway sleeper but I want to split the horizontal members with the cut side facing down.

As anyone any idea how I could go about splitting a railway sleeper down the middle?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Bring them to the local saw mill this woulc get the best results. You could buy a beam saw(basically a massive circular saw) cost around 1000 bucks. Steady hand and a chainsaw. But personally I would bring them to the saw mill
