Sticking to the planning

Hi, I'm new to all of this, our planning has only gone in recently but depending on what our quotes are going to come back at we may change a few small details.

Are architect has recommended getting solar panels and certain bespoke windows at the back of the house.

By removing these it brings it much more into our price range but the design drawings have them clearly marked.

Do we need to stick to the exact plans or is there any give once the planning has gone in.

    Thanks

Your architect will advise on particular items. It may be a straight forward letter and drawing submitted. Depends very much on the size of the change. What you have described will not affect adversely affect planning, but will affect the energy calculations and the look of the house.

By removing the solar panels you will certainly need to review how you would comply with Part L of building regulations. Solar panels from memory are planning exempt but check with your architect
