Had Pimms & Lemonade on holidays recently and want to recreate it at home. Is it red or white lemonade you use in it?

If you went on holidays outside Ireland, it'll be white :)

Tonic water is also good as is soda water for a less sweet version.

I am not particularly fussy about drinks but I do not like any of the cheapo leomandes. 7up & sprite are both lemon & lime. Scheweppes would be a readily available decent one, and in pubs it is often scheweppes if its a bottle you get.

There is probably some decent own brand like M&S or maybe lidl, I have only tried a few.
