    HI All,

We're looking at doing our driveway. Not tarmac it. Probaly pebble/chip driveway.

Any advise on what's good? And more imporatanly who to put it down. Reckon it needs to be level across the driveway or we'll have clumps of it!!! also looking to extend the driveway a bit. Guessing landscapers would be best to do this or are there people specialising in just driveways?

    Thanks

Any pebble/chip driveways I've seen have just ended up with uneven bald patches/weeds (unless you are prepared to weed it/treat it or rake it on a regular enough basis!). That's just my 2 cent..

Something like this maybe??? (failing any other paving/tarmac option) Here. I remember seeing a company in Ireland that do this but can;t find the link for them again.

there is something like that grass in the carpark at Farmleigh - it looks nice and works well!

Aye the farmleigh stuff is concrete though. Seems to work well too. Definitely one to consider if you are seeking planning permission or retention later on as the drainage issue is grand. (compared to poured concrete anyway).
