So you want to spend €500 and presumably 6 months tax on a potential minefield of problems to save how much on tax on your S2000?

I suggest you do the maths again.

well he'l probably spend 500 on a car and 3-400 on a years tax on most of those 1.4 ish cars. spend 900 overall, tax on the s2k is the bones of 800, so would certainly do no worse than break even.

i wouldn't go for the fiesta, they are just getting a little too dated imo. the 1.3 pushrod although reliable is a bit of a donkey and the tin worm is probably never too far away.

that avensis has been bumped a couple of times i think. and even if 8 days is the original advert, if a mk1 avensis with the 4afe engine hasn't sold for €395 after 8 days, there is more to it than meets the eye imo. ex taxi maybe?

for me it'd be between the primera and the civic... i'd probably pick the civic. it'd look the best with a bottle of t-cut thrown across it, fake walnut interior is ok, tax is cheaper than the primera and the auto might be nice if you are only farting around town in it. there is no excuse for that colour green on the primera, screams farmer, hate it on everything.

yeah id second the civic, excellent cars, well made reliable and comfortable enough too. It's a shame its an auto though, still its fine nontheless
