as the title suggest , did you prefer the 12 episode season or the old 24 episodes ?
For me I preferred the 12 episodes as they felt tighter. 24 when its all systems go is an animal of a show, but the longer seasons always seemed to have 1 silly or throw away arc (Mountain lion anyone ?) that only add padding to the show.

So if 24 should return , how would you feel about another 12 episode season (wherever its set) ?

    24 : is it better with 12 episodes or 24 ? 18 votes

    12 episodes - less filler.

24 episodes - it is called 24 for a reason.

A day set in Moscow, with the Russia architecture would be arresting. However given the current political climate, it could be arresting.

24 with the lean set pieces was always best.

Seriously who wants cougars, ctu baby problems, sudden convenient amnesia, etc.

If the twelve episode format can continue avoiding that stuff I'm all for it.

12 episodes is too short for me, I don't mind filler as long as its not unbearable like that red headed one in season 5. Some 'filler' was really enjoyable, like the crazy daughter in Day 4 or the Henry Taylor plot in Day 8.
If we got a full 24 season as good as 24:LAD set in Russia, I would die a happy man.

I think 12 eps suits it better now that it's in season 9 territory. There isn't as much need to repeat storylines.

Originally 24 eps was great, the idea that an entire day was shown through 1 season is brilliant

12 episodes is just fine. 24 episodes sometimes felt too long.

I loved the 12 hour format. But if I had one gripe, it was the speed at which characters were able to move around London. Being able to get from Liverpool St Station to some manor in the countryside in 15 minutes or being able to drive halfway across during peak hours in 10 minutes kinda annoyed me. There is enough filler in the 24 hour format that this continuity wasn't as bad an issue in the past.

Yeah, I know, I'm picking holes in the plot of 24 :pac:
