Hi All, If a garage was built to the side of the house, then later converted to a study/bedroom is it exempt from planning? Hi All,

If a garage was built to the side of the house, then later converted to a study/bedroom is it exempt from planning?

It meets the regs regarding size, not being forward of the front, finish and roof all seem to be ok.

Looks like the garage was built first, early 1980's then converted later on, early 90's to a study/bedroom.
