    Hello.
    I am 24 years old
    male
    single
    previously worked.
I share house with a woman 31 years old, a boy 14 years old(her son) and another male 32 years old(moved in recently) WE ARE NOT RELATED IN ANY WAY, JUST FAMLIY FRIENDS(JUST FRIENDS)

I had 2 jobs for 2 years. I worked for 2 different agencies. After 2 years both workplaces sent me p45. All happened in same week. I lost both my jobs in april and applied for SW in may(had some saving and sold my car in a hope to get a new job, didnt work out). I got my papers, filled them and went in for first meeting. Everything went smoothly but i had to go thru another meeting which took place in Athy and this is the part where everything got so...messy. I went to the office and the lady started ACCUSING me for being in RELATIONSHIP with 31 year old woman and told me that i am being very vague about where i live. She kept accusing me and it was very frustrating. At one point i felt that this meeting was more about her then me. Every time she referred to the department of social welfare she leaned forward and pointed fingers at herself. She mentioned many times that she is around from this area(mag and she knows that there is no work here and why am i living here at all, why did i move here from Carlow etc. I explained to her everything but i guess it still was not enough. Thing is that for now i´ve sold more then my car and borrowed from my mother just to get by.
My question is: How long it might take to get some answers from SW? i applied 2 of May so it has been going on for 10 weeks now.
Should I contact with that officer?
I am asking because i am BROKE and i really do not want to make any mistakes or piss that woman off.
WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO OR WHERE SHOULD I GO WITH THIS?

I think you should go to your relieving officer and explain the situation you might get some form of payment if you've no money in bank etc.

Looks like someone has given information on either you or 32yo woman either a jealous neighbour or friend and they need to investigate that there's no fraud happening.

Go in and ask what the status is with your claim. It sounds like it is still pending an investigators report. If you've no money you should be able to go see the community welfare officer who can decide if they want to pay you in the mean time.
