Nokia 625 ( WP8.0 ) internet sharing "tethering" function turning off

    I've a newish 625 running WP8.0.

The phone appears to turn off the internet sharing function if there is a 3G signal drop - even for a very short time - and does not turn it on again when the 3G signal is restored- (this also seems to happen if signal changes between 3G and LTE). Using the tethering feature in areas with marginal 3G cover, as I do, this is a major drawback to the phone which is not an issue with my android phone.

What can I do to get around this WP 'feature' ?

I haven't noticed my Lumia doing that, but I'll do some testing today and see if I can reproduce what you're seeing.
