    Hi all,
Is it possible to order electronic sheep tags from Mullinahone on-line? Am registered with them, but cannot see the option to order.

Dont think you can order online of any of the tagging companies but i could be wrong.
Also the cormac eid tag is a far better tag than the mullinahone ones imo and ya will have them the next day if ya order early enough.

you can order on line from

    https://www.sheeptags.ie/product-category/sheep-tags/

agree with eire 23 that cormac eids are better than mullinahne

however lately having some issues with cormac, namely tags splitting, and a fairly high loss rate

also after a few years the writing fades (someone said sheep dip causes this)

I think they changed the design a couple of years ago and don't think the present tags (cormac)
    are as good as before

just my experience .. maybe my feed barriers could be partly to blame

Ordered a batch of eid tags from elite two years ago, found them to have a excellent retention rate but they wont write the year on them for some reason which cormac will do.
