    Hi there,

Basically I am 24 and after a recent stay in hospital a few weeks, I have decided I want to go back to college to study something science related and hopefully get into something medical if possible. Although I did see they have links with other colleges one of which is DCU and they seem to do a teaching course which I would be interested.

The main thing is I have been in college/plc course before, done the Cisco CCNA I found the course great but finding a job was very hard as it was quite mental. So just wondering too what the job scene is like after 5 years of studying !

Has anyone got any suggestions or ideas for me on how to approach this? I could enter as a mature student for a course in DCU but I think it would be good too have some sort of discipline in the area before looking for something more up the scale !

Just a thought that popped into my head, would there be anyone in the college like a lecture on one of the courses I could talk too or is that unheard of?

It's just my life flashed before my eyes at 24 and I really want to be in a good job doing something I like and enjoy before I am 30 I think if I put the effort in now I should get there.

So open to any ideas or suggestions !

    Thanks.
