I don't think of any specific place in Dublin.

During the week Id say the pub would put it in for you If you asked. However at weekend you'd have to compete with the golf gaa etc.

Maybe the woodshed or living room as both have a massive amount of screens and style themselves as sportsbars.

Thanks for that guys. BTW outside the city centre along the Strawberry Beds the Stawberry Inn had it on and apparently always show it. I think Blanch Wheelies meet up there for their spins.

Toner's on Baggot Street has Eurosport, I watched the third stage of the Giro there. Not sure if they're showing the TdF - as mentioned, you might have to battle with The Open or similar snoozefests :p

Where do the French watch le Tour, or do they bother?

A friend of mine lives in the south of France and he says that they show it in all the càfe bars, says it's great! Pity we haven't that here.

That said I'm in the Teachers Club now, just off Parnell St with a buddy having coffee and watching it on the big screen, commentary and all :)

What about that Italian place on capel street? The owner is a keen cyclist and closes for an hour or two most days to head out on his bike.

I'll check it out next week and report back!

They probably stand outside their house and watch it go by ;)
