Hi working 5 8 hour days a week. Being cut to 3 8 hour days soon. Get 8.65 an hour.

Will I be entitled to jsa for days I missed.
Was on jsa 3 months ago before took this job

    Thanks

I think you need to be under 20 total hours over 3 or fewer days to qualify for the jsa for days you miss. You should consider whether a further reduction would be wise.

You should apply for casual jsa. It will be means tested and your earnings will be assessed as means against your claim. Looking at the info you have provided I think you will get some payment every week. Once you dont do 3x12 hr shifts you meet the criteria.

Was down in the welfare office this morning
Have a meeting on the 29 for jsb.
Is this still the same criteria?
No 8 hours a day earnings 69.20 before tax ect

If its jsb then your earnings arent assessed its a standard deduction for every day you work and that depends on your personal rate. If your personal rate is €188 then approx €33 will be deducted from €188 for every day you work. If you work 3 days you will receive €89 approx a week from sw.
