Only booked my test online yesterday and clicked the cancelation date option. Rang the RSA to find out when the nearest date would be to be told i can sit it friday morning at 10:05 in tallaght. Well i was delighted to hear that till i hung up the phone and actually started doubting myself!:o

Anyway just thought i would let people know, anyone that has passed recently got any tips for tallaght or the testers? Ive done 5 lessons with my ADI around the area doing the routes and picking up on local things. Lane position road works ect. Hes quite confident that ill pass first time to so thats given me some confidence!

Don't stress about it too much. If you fail you can always do it again. Took me 2 goes. I know the expense is not ideal but failing is not the end of the world!

Yep! Just keep practising and best of luck, like you've been told, its not the end of the world if you do fail, took me three times to pass it, and my friend 9 so yeah!

    Best of luck also :)

Im pretty confident going to head up to tallaght later tonight and go over the routes again with someone, i know the locations for most of the manouvers to so should help to practice them!

You will be fine. Tallaght has nice clear road markings and wide roads, unlike some other centres.

If you don't get it this time, apply again and take a cancellation.

You got a great time! Don't sweat it. Kids won't be up and morning traffic gone and before lunch traffic. Good luck :)

Don't get too stressed. Look beyond the test. Life will go on. You're bound to be nervous but once you turn that ignition just relax and give it your best drive as possible. If you're too nervous, you'll make mistakes, so there's no point.

Not the morning I was looking for at all! Was feeling confident about it yesterday and last night then was woken up this morning by thunder and the rain! Seriously heavy downpour hoping it eases off a bit before 10!

Passed with only two grade 2's one of which was from the oral part of the test! Delighted with it all, only problem is that all the appointments ate booked up in the centers to pretty close to the 1st! Was told to just go up before they open and queue up as a walk in so reckon I'll do it in the morning
