Mac OS 10.5 Installation Disc

    Hi.

    Wonder if anyone can help me out, I'm trying to restore files from a old mac with a corrupt hard drive. I've got a backup drive with time machine on it, and I feel after many hours of exhausting all options I need to reformat the drive and use time machine to restore the machine. The problem is I obviously cannot find the installation disk. I really just need the files, and then can go ahead and update the OS to something less outdated. I've looked around but some of the prices on offer on ebay are simply ludicrous. (Between $80-$800 dollars). Any ideas for a cheap or nearly cheap solution to this?

    Hi Iguana,

    Is it an Intel Mac? If so you can use 10.6 on it

    Yes. Will the time machine restore everything thats on the old machine?
