Has anyone had any success in Ireland with a lemon tree grown in a pot? Has anyone had any success in Ireland with a lemon tree grown in a pot?

The mammy has requested one and my gardening experience is limited to this summer (strawberries producing fruit atm, peas growing, lots of slug destroyed lettuce :mad:, tomato plants begginning to show tomatos (they're kinda big actually but still green), herbs).

So when should one go about getting these lemon trees, what sort of conditions do they require and how much care? Pot size? Also, approximate cost?
