how to design a mock magazine

hey folks.

Im looking to design quickly a mock up magazine as a last minute present for a hens do on saturday.

so has to be quick and cant order off the net. I wanna just throw something together then bring it to Reeds or something to get it printed.

Is there any online programmes i can use that will do a half decent job?

just like four pages or something.

dont know about online, but theres always microsoft publisher. granted most printing companies wont accept publisher files and I dont think it exports as PDF. You could go to your local newspaper, offer a typesetter a few euro and see if they'd do up a few pages in Quark for you. Export it as PDF and give it to your printer. Or design something in photoshop (way more work though and not as handy for layout and type)
