Hi All I am thinking of purchasing a company car and if I go to the UK will I have to pay the VAT and claim it back or will the dealer knock it off the price? Once in Ireland I will pay the VRT. Thanks

If you are buying a new car and your company has an Irish VAT Number then they should zero rate the supply.

You then will self account for Irish VAT on the supply depending on the type of car and business use http://www.revenue.ie/en/tax/vat/leaflets/vat-deduction-on-certain-cars.pdf will dictate how much VAT can be recovered.
