Hdmi cable problem

    Hey

I have been using a hdmi cable to connect my ps3 to the TV with no issues. I then used the same hdmi cable to connect my laptop to the TV and this worked fine, but when I tried to reconnect it to the ps3 it no longer works.

This happened before and I had to buy a new cable to get it working again. But I don't think I should have to do this as the hdmi should work on both I would have thought?

I have tried holding down the power button on the playstation to reset the graphic settings but didn't work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Try switching off/plugging out the tv for ten seconds, that should reset the hdmi.

I have done that but hasn't made a difference unfortunately.
