What do you do if you rent now, when you retire??

    Just thinking...

What happens when you reach retirement if you never buy somewhere/always rent? Where does one live?

What got me thinking is that I have a friend in the UK who is 63 and still works (and rents), don't get me wrong she loves her job, but I wonder is there an element of having to work... When I'm 63 I want to be well retired... (hopefully! All going to plan!)

I know someone else who rents with her boyf in FAB city pad which they could not afford if they were to buy.

Anyone out there in that scenario? In a couple or single... Pure curiosity what are your plans for the future?

Does one have to put extra into pension now for rent in the future??
