Bought curtains in Arnotts concession store last month. Took ages to come out to measure and now I'm told company in Liquidation.

Paid €200 deposit by visa debit.

    Where do we stand?

Is the Arnott's concession store in liquidation? Can you confirm.

the concession has gone bust - that means they don't have the money. Stand in Arnotts demanding such will get you rightly heaved out by security.

The OP paid by visa debit - paying by visa gives you security incase of a company failing. Call you bank's card department (not just customer service) and look to do a chargeback. They will need proof that the company has gone into liquidation. Try insolvencyjournal.ie for details.

go to montgomery.co.uk/ and you'll see a notice of administration. A screenshot of that will probably suffice.

    (I presume its montgomery curtains)
