    Hi all,

We are just back from holidays and we are thinking of booking next years one now again. Just wondering if the flight timetables usually stay the same from year to year? This year Ryanair fly from Shannon to Palma on a Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Do you think that these days will be the same next summer?

Made a mess of the flights for this year because we booked hotel starting on a Monday and when the flights came out we had to fly to London first and two days were taken up traveling.

    Thanks in advance.

Ryanair flight schedules are usually available about 6 months in advance. Often similar with Aer Lingus on holiday routes. Nobody could predict if their schedules will be the same as this year.

So maybe don't book hotels until you've got the flights sorted?

Next summers schedule is usually on sale around October time- there is no predictability if they flights will be on same days or not so I'd just wait and see.

Yeah its normally 6 months before. Might wait until October to see, just hotel price keeps going up and last time after January our price had doubled when I checked it.

Can you not just book a cancellable rate on booking.com or somewhere like that?

    This.

Use booking.com and take one of the options that allows cancellation free of charge. Most of their bookings will allow this up to pretty close to the day of travel. They'll also often allow you to modify a booking as in changing the dates slightly.

Hotel prices usually don't shoot up like that so it must be a particularly popular time you're travelling.
