Booked With Trailfinders - Check In?

We were given a booking confirmation letter.

At the airport do we need to go to the airlines desk to check in and get our tickets printed.

    We will be going from:

    Dublin - London

    London - Kuala Lumpur

    Kuala Lumpur - Bali

Do we need to do this at every airport?

Also how does it work once we arrive to London, would we need to collect our bags and check in again or would they be put onto the next flight?

If it's the one airline, your bags will be checked all the way through.
Presuming it's not Ryanair, you can check in when you're leaving your bags.

Even if it isn't the same airline they will still put your bags through to your final destination.

We went Dublin-London-Kuala Lumpur with Trailfinders and bags went right through.

Once you get to London and then KL you just follow 'connecting flights' signs or whatever they are called. Very simple.

If you booked with Trailfinders I would be asking them.:)

Depends what airlines you are flying

I flew Dublin - London - Kuala Lumpur - Penang last year. The first leg was with Aer Lingus, then Malaysian Airlines.

I was able to check my bags straight to my destination in Dublin.

Aer Lingus were only able to issue their own boarding pass in Dublin. I was then able to collect all other boarding passes at the Malaysian Airline flight transfer desk in London. Just follow the flight transfer signs it Heathrow.

We're following a similar flight plan in October this year: DUB -> LHR -> KUL.

Aer Lingus to LHR and then Malaysian to KUL. We only have 1hr 45m to transfer in Heathrow (T2 -> T4). I think from reading here our bags will go through but we'll have to check in again at the Malaysian desk.

Is this very tight for time or fairly achievable?

    1hr 45 is just fine.
