Putting a new stereo and speakers into an 04 Nissan Almera

I was wondering if anybody has experience with installing a new car stereo and speakers into a Nissan Almera 04? My car has the integrated car stereo system (see the attached image) and I want to install a new stereo with USB and Bluetooth etc as well as speakers.

I went into Halfords and they are quoting me a price of approx €340 (incl installation).

If I have to go the Halfords route I will but I was wondering how easy/hard it would be to do it myself? I don't mind if I lose the steering controls (i hardly use them) but I am concerned that as the current integrated system contains the air con/heat controls as well as the radio controls that I will lose everything if I mess it up.

Am I mad to try do it myself or is Halfords the best route to go?

    Thanks

OOOH. Thanks for that. Never heard of that before. Is it hard to install? It looks the business.
