    Hi All,

Just wondering if anybody has purchased a Smart TV, demo model at a reduced price, Its a year on display. I would still get a five year guarantee.

    Is it worth it?

I bought a Samsung ES series smart TV and I have since bought an F series Samsung and the difference is amazing. TVs are improving rapidly and the next years model is far superior. You need a deep discount to make it worth it. They stop upgrading the firmware after about two years so you are already into the second year.

Also, the picture fades with use. All new TVs i've bought over the many years have always made the old one look rubbish so a year of demo use with the brightness on full does not improve the picture.

Look to buy a new one at a good price is my advice.
