In the aftermath of yet another bloodbath, Sam, Sookie and Jason find themselves the bearers of bad news in Bon Temps. Pam recalls the events that led her and Eric to Shreveport and Fangtasia.

I liked the origin of Fangtasia and was strange seeing fallout from the deaths.

Glad they got rid of that group who was against all supernatural creatures.

Though don't see why they didn't attack Fangtasia during the day. They have plenty of anti vampire weapons, which would include gas that would harm them but not humans. So just knock in the door, throw in the gas and then kill them.

I think Sookie should try giving Eric some of her blood to see if it'll cure him.

So now with those 2 groups dead, where will they go now, I wonder.

Its like they want to just bring back every character for a little scene because its the last season, wasting time. Nearly half way through, is there a story to this season? Is there a direction? Or is the ultimate end game to see who Sookie. the worst leading character ever, ends up with?

God i love Eric... i was thinking the same about Sookies blood i wonder would it help him?

Glad they got rid of those two groups already, what will the rest of the season be about now i wonder... Apart from catching Sarah Newlin..

I'm trying to think how did Eric get hep v? Also when Arlene was fed on last week the vamp died. Why didn't that happen this time?

with regard to the prospective mayor and anti-supes brigade I'm not sure we have seen the last of them. There seemed to be a large enough group of them who attacked Jessica/Jason and Violet that night Jess got shot.
It didn't seem like there were that many casualties from the Alcide shooting and the attack on fangtasia. Also, I'm sure there are probably other anti-supes brigades in neighbouring parishes or around, that the mayor got in touch with. Remember Sheriff Dearborne and his anti-supes group from a previous season?

they are probably leaving that particular back story for later on in the season. Perhaps there is some great revelation about it?

I think the teacher was already on her last legs, so when she fed on Arlene, the fresh blood only increased the rate of infection.

Regarding HEP V btw, I guess we shouldn't be too surprised by erics cavalier attitude but considering how hard it is to find ''clean humans'' so to speak, one would think that he would take a blood transfusion from the girl on the plane, rather than drink from the source and infect someone else?

I have to say I'm quite liking all the old faces popping up and seeing some of Eric and Pam's backstory and 80s fashion choices. To be honest it's in 'so bad it's good' territory now but you just have to go with it!

Yeah I figured they'd not said - just couldn't remember at all what happened.
    That'll be a good story i'm sure

Really loved the back story to Fangtasia too - Pam stealing the idea was brilliant from Ginger.

Really enjoyed this episode. This season seems to be a lot more simpler in that there is only really one main storyline whereas in other seasons you had 6 or 7 (usually unrelated) things going on. It means there is more time given to the characters. I loved the opening scene with Jason and Sookie (who I still hate for causing Alcide's death because of her stupid tendancy to go off half cocked doing things) letting Hoyt and Alcide's dad know that they had died.

I LOVED the backstory with Pam, Eric and Ginger. I loved so hard when they walked into the building and it was a video shop :)
