social welfare confusion

    Im finishing up a temp contract soon what will i need to sign back on to social welfare, i have a copy of my contract which states the start and finish date of my contract and will get a p45 is this enough to sign on with or do i need something else ??

    Not really but a note from the employer saying they are letting you go through lack of work would be helpful. The social welfare people will check to make sure you weren't sacked or quit of your own accord.

    You've already created a thread in State Benefits, what makes you think this is a legal issue?

    how do they check ? i left another temp job at the end if my contract i was offered a few months more but declined
    it to do an evening course in computer maintainance when i signed on it was never brought up

    They ring your last boss. Well, they do in Newbridge anyway. Not sure if all are the same.
