Custom Charges?

Hi, just wondering what way custom charges work in Ireland? Ive seen a few small things on ali express and wondering what's the likeliness of been caught for customs....they are only maybe 10e or 12e with free post then through china post? Are you def going get caught for customs when they automatically see something coming from china or hong kong or what's the story?
Any info would be great, cuz some lovely things on it, for good price

If it's under 22 euro you dont get charged anything. If it's over that, you get charged VAT. So keep it under 22 euro if you dont want additional charges.

O super thanks for that, and does that 22e incl p&p if I went with an paid option, sorry I dont have a clue about these things

Yes, I think the shipping costs is included in the €22. Not 100% on that though so dont take my word for it.
