Kings Inns 2014 Advice

Hi there , sorry for bothering you all but I am currently studying for the 2014 Kings Inns Entrance exams in August , study admittedly is going slow as I am unsure of firstly how to approach it, I have signed up to do some of the prep courses which are proving to be very helpful in terms of the classes and the manuals but I have a few questions for anyone who has successfully passed the exams.
    1. What is the best way to structure your study , I am currently doing what I consider a more difficult subject i.e. Tort with a subject which I find easier i.e. Evidence and then mixing the other two Criminal and Contract the following day ! giving the real difficulty Constitutional its own day . Is this a good way to approach things as some of my friends blasted ahead and completed the smaller courses first and finished them relatively quickly, for instance doing criminal and evidence first and finishing the entire course?
    2. I am still not sure of what the examiners want as there are no examiner reports, I did very well in my undergraduate degree but this was a result of cherry picking the topics more likely to appear on the paper and studying only those subjects very forensically , am I better have a somewhat limited knowledge of the whole syllabus and answering in very matter of fact ways such as " the issue here is bad character evidence , and the case here is Makin, Boardman, Sim etc , a little information and moving on to the next issue , without spending much time on it ??

I would be really appreciative of any personal stories from people who have sat them in terms of what the week is like ?, what way to approach the final five weeks?, and maybe a little do's and dont's from the exam papers to the Inns??

Askign alot I know but I dont know who else to turn to ??

    Large subjects first:

    Constitutional; Tort; Contract; Criminal; Evidence.

Then run a sequence until you've each syllabus covered and you end with the exam that comes first. So, if Tort is on the Monday, then it will be fresh in the head.

You should give it one week per subject and know the format of the syllabus in each case, well.

    Q. 1 usually a bumper fun question, with 2/3 smaller ones.

It's a hard week, but not insurmountable. Plenty of threads on it here, search function near top right of the screen.
