Just wondering have any graduates of the BBS in Business and Management successfully qualified to be a secondary school teacher?

The degree is not on the teaching council's list of recognised degrees but I seen an option to get the degree assessed for suitability and wondered has anyone done this successfully?

Also among the list of recognised degrees are the BA in which it lists Business, Accounting and Economics as possible teaching subjects and there was a large crossover between Arts students and Business and Management students in Business, Accounting and Economics lectures.

Any information on this would be great.

Business through arts is ratified by the TC is but I don't think the Business management one is as the focus is very much on the Business World , not teaching. Conact John Cullen and he'll fill you in with greater detail.

Cheers, I was trying not to be annoying him, he said that other Business & Management graduates have been assessed based on the fact that the Business through arts subject contains the same modules to both degrees. Will contact the TC now and see for sure.

I just came on here to post a similar question. I've studied Business, Accounting and Economics through first year Arts and I have applied to transfer into the direct Business and Accounting course next year. (MH407). Just wondering would this be deemed a suitable course for teaching either Business or Accounting at second level? I know the Arts option qualifies it but I'm not entirely sure of the route I'd like to take after college and this degree will allow more exemptions should I take a Business/Accounting route rather than teaching.
