Just wondering what the story is with quailified teachers working as SNAs?

Is it a good way of gaining some experience/ work?

Am seeing some SNA postions advertised in my locale, I've nothing for September yet...

Am thinking it could be enjoyable and rewarding work.

by all means apply however there are plenty of SNAs out there with the qualification. Also there is a fear that qualified teacher will start wanting to teach as opposed to SNA (remember you might be assigned to a child that requires changing etc). Also note teacher couldbe gone the minute they get teaching work

    Thanks for the advice.

No harm in applying. I would commit to it, if it meant regular work and dependable income. I've worked as a carer before, so not put off with the physical aspect of the job.

    Just want to work!!
