Really?! Just really load obnoxious ones or the whole lot?

In a similar vein are the people who are strolling along with headphones on who don't look when crossing the road. Seen a few of them jump when I give a long blast on the hooter. FFS look where you are going, it's a road - there are bound to be cars in it.

I'm usually bloody paranoid about it if i'm on foot with the headphones on to be honest!

Even cyclists and so on can come flying past you and scare the fook out of you if you're not using your ears.

You're in a minority. Most seemed to be "lost in music"!

There there's the double offenders, headphones in the ears with the device in hand - not looking or listening.

    I know it's mental isn't it!

I reckon you must be a pretty sweet target for a thief to come up and swipe your phone on you in that situation.

You'd be so surprised you wouldn't have any response!

I'm surprised more phones are stolen. Every day I see dozens of people stumbling along footpaths, heads down, not looking where they are going while engrossed in something that's probably not *really* important. Certainly doesn't seem to be important enough to stop, give their full attention to it, and then continue. Any random person could step into their path, grab their phone, smack them in the face and be off in a matter of seconds.

The thing that gets me as well is that it would probably you about 2 minutes to do if you just stopped and did it, rather than walking along for 6, 7, 8 minutes trying to do it while you walk!

You do know a cyclist has every right to take centre lane, this is the safest thing to do if going along a road that has a lot of parked cars on it for example, the cars aren't going to be going any faster than a bike on those kinds of roads. So the next time you get pissed off at a cyclist for not keeping in to the extreme left, maybe think about what would happen if one of those parked cars decided to pull out/open a door.......instead of beeping and shouting abuse and passing dangerously close.

Is that Ireland? Doubtful, handrails, signs, claims, injury, embarassment, PTSD etc etc. If that happened here, the suit wouldn't be the only thing taken to the cleaners..

Had to watch it a few times, so good. At first I thought Jesus was back.
    She's quite the meanderthal.

I love how there is a "caution, wet floor" sign. :D

My sister does that with her phone. I've seen her walk into so many things so often and always giving me such a good laugh. Her response ...."Why didn't you warn me?"

Not when you're not looking where you're going sister dear. :D

That's a valid case, however not the one i was referring to. I mean when there are no parked cars and two or three cyclists taking up the entire width of a lane, forcing cars to over-take. No extreme left, just hogging the entire feckin lane, holding up traffic and making passing very difficult and dangerous on smaller windy roads. And, I don't suffer any of the rage issues you mentioned, its just damn annoying and frustrating !!

There are so many more eejits on public transport these days who I'd like to shove earphones into their ears. Why oh why is it always the goons with the absolute worst taste in music the feel the greatest need to share it with the rest of the bus?

As for the the digital obsessives, I'm happy to let natural selection and a busy junction deal with those tools.

It is, without a doubt, the most annoying thing about public transport!

What's worse is the young ones who think it's ok to play it over the speakers...

only AH could turn a thread about a woman falling into a pool into a pro/anti cycling thread in less than one page.
