Hey all not sure where I was to put this really so I just put it here. :-) . so anyway having a couple of tattoo's removed soon' just doing a bit of research into into it at the moment. Has anyone any experience of having any removed, if so, what method did you go with, how much generally did it cost, and most importantly how effective was the treatment. Also if you were pleased with the results I wouldn't mind knowing where you got it done. Many thanks. Mrty.

It's not as expensive as you think it would be, I'm getting my medium size black one removed with a q switch ndyag laser for 60 euro per session. I was told it would take 6 sessions at 6 weeks intervals. The main downside is that it's extremely painful while getting it done (even though it's over quickly) and very itchy for about three weeks afterwards. It's worth it though, just make sure you go to someone with a lot of experience and they will talk you through the process. Oh and don't try to use tattoo removal creams or anything like that, they don't work.

    hi

I got it done and am still getting treatment.. my tattoo is nearly gone thank god.. Just have a wing left & faint outlines in parts (was a cherub)...

I got the 4 sessions for 60 euro deals and they are grand... one was for mary st another clondalkin and another one Bolton street... each session it lifts more..

my advice is go for it.. you wont look back.. I certainly haven't.. its painful but it works..
