Hi. Has anybody out there got info on whether FERRINI bicycles are any good?
There is a beautiful yellow model on sale in Smyths at the moment. Looks fantastic.

Produced by a Bulgarian company. I haven't seen it but I imagine its a heavy yoke hastily constructed by the young fellas in the back who never rode a bike never mind knows how to put it together. If you do go for it get it checked. (At least you will get fit lugging it around!) And be aware that the Smyths bikes seem to be a favourite to be robbed too, probably a function of cheap bike=>cheap lock i suppose.

If you want to buy a bike then go to a bike shop to buy one not a toy store.

Smyths is a Toy Store?? No ****,Sherlock(s)...I'd never have guessed.
I was in there getting toys for my kids and saw these Ferrini adult bicycles on display....they really look good that's all I'm saying. I know that Smyths isn't a Bike shop....I just wanted to know if anybody had experience of this particular brand of Bike....

Point being a toy shop wont have the expertise (set up and fitting), backup and parts supply that a dedicated bike shop will, so you would be better spending your money in a proper bike shop, you'll have better comeback and probably a better buying experience.

If the bikes are cheap, they're probably not good, and would have little or no resale value compared to a more recognised brand.

Thanks for the proper kind of reply I expected. Not a smart-hole answer like from Eamonnator. Cheers, man.
