    Try to make story short.
Car parked in city centre with no tax
    Got fine in post .
Went to post office to pay fixed penalty notice within 28 days.
Teller scanned summons total to pay €40.paid and got receipt.
Received summons to appear in court for failing to display parking disc at 11pm at night..never received any notice of fine for same/.?
What do I need to do now.
    Thanks in advance

Go to court, pay fine. If having a conviction would be a problem for you, getting a solicitor that normally attends that court would be the cheapest option.

Were these on the same day?

Well posting it 4 times isn't going to speed things up. You have a summons. Nothing to do with licencing authority any more. Bring your licence to court with you showing that date and judge may go easy.

I thought that they backdated TV licences when purchased if the gap was less than six months.

dont know about that...irregardless of that he has a summons now, so that needs to be explained in court.
