I want to convert an upstairs box room into a shower room.
My problem is the water supply is Direct Mains. Is this job possible and if so is it expensive?????

You say direct mains, does this mean you are looking for an electric shower (heats the water) or are you looking for a power shower (takes already heated water from hot press & pumps it out)

You could install a triton t80z for around €600 inc plumbing and electrics. You will get 6 litres per minute maximum out of an electric shower.
As for the shower room I couldn't tell you how much. I'm guessing most tilers would want to see it first before giving a price.

Sleeper, my problem is how to get the water upstairs. I have no water tank as I'm Direct Mains fed.
    Is it a BIG JOB!???

Again very hard to say without seeing it. For example if the shower room was right above the kitchen you would run a pipe up the wall. If the shower room was the other side of the house then that's more labour
