Car v-lightly keyed

Following on from my post here, it turns out that my car was in-fact keyed down my driver door.

I can now account for the front marking (shopping trolley), but the door I was informed was definitely keyed.

The only thing I can think of:
~ at work one day. Car directly outside my window. A young child was messing around my car.
Next thing I see is her mother looking at what she was doing; jaw-dropped, and carried the girl with legs not touching the ground across the carpark to her own car. They left via other exit so never caught her reg.

The paint-work is not torn. You can see this marking when it's pointed out, but not before, according to some people I've shown.

Best leaving it? or should I try something?

I am taking assurance in the above scenario in that it was not vandalism but just a young child un-supervised.

No photos as not coming out clear enough to post. It's just superficial, but just knowing it is there is pure annoying & has angered me as I am minding her as best I can!

My last car: with all the scratches and scrapes on her, I can account for every last one. I can tell you exactly how each one happened. Only once was car dented by another turning at a carpark, but plenty others have had damaged cars in same location since.

^^^ Pure Waffle? Thanks for reading this far :)

    Thanks,
    kerry4sam

If the paint isnt too badly damaged a light machine polish should do the trick.
